Her Marauders have appeared in five consecutive PSAC Championship games, winning the 2013 and 2016 titles, and have reached the NCAA Tournament in four consecutive seasons.

Millersville University alumni. During her career with Ville field hockey she was team captain and one of eight players to start in all 22 games. She was also Named PSAC Scholar-Athlete, All-PSAC Third Team and NCAA All-Tournament Team in 2013.
Co-Founder of RAD, Head Coach with W&M Field Hockey, former USA FH & U-21 National Coach & National Sr. Team Assistant Coach, coached numerous Tours & USA FH Development Selector.
In just two years as head coach of William and Mary, Ellis has established herself as one of the brightest coaching lights in the CAA, winning a share of Coach of the Year honors in both of her first two seasons. She is just the third coach in league history to be named Coach of the Year more than once, and Ellis is one of just two coaches (along with Beth Anders) to ever win Coach of the Year accolades in consecutive seasons.

Volunteer Assistant Coach
One of the most respected and accomplished student-athletes in recent Millersville history, Maria Thompson returns to the field hockey program as a volunteer coach for the 2013 season.
Thompson, who received a bachelor's degree from Millersville in 2013, was a significant contributor to the Marauder field hockey return to prominence. She was a four-year starter, four-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a PSAC East Second Team selection as a freshman.
Her play at the defensive end coupled with her work in the classroom made her an all-around student-athlete. Thompson posted a 4.0 GPA during her collegiate career, and as a senior, she was named the PSAC Champion Scholar prior to the PSAC semifinals. Thompson was also recognized as a SGI/NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.
With over 20 years of experience as a player and a coach he has served as an assistant coach at Maryland, Millersville and Harvard. On an international level, he has been an assistant coach for the USA Field Hockey Junior National U19 team since July. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Cheltenham Ladies College in England for four years. On a club level, Bam is the master coach and co-founder of K16 Field Hockey. He is a certified Level 2 coach in the United States and United Kingdom.
As a player, Bam earned 98 international caps, competing in over 30 international tournaments. A native of South Africa, Bam represented his home country in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, as well as at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, the African Cup Championship and the Commonwealth Games.
Mark Egner is the assistant coach at William and Mary. He joined W&M with five years of coaching experience. He has served as a clinician and camp staff for field hockey camps both in Europe and in the U.S. since 2008, including at VCU, North Carolina, Princeton, W&M, and Longwood. Egner has also worked for USA Field Hockey for the past two years, serving as coach, site director, and selector for the Futures program in the state of Virginia. A native of Ireland. He was an assistant coach and video coordinator with the Irish Hockey Association's U-18 and Senior National teams in 2012, before becoming the head coach at the Fermoy Hockey Club.
RAD Camp Co-director
Baillie Versfeld, a standout player at James Madison, joined the Millersville coaching staff in 2016 after spending the previous nine years coaching at the collegiate level. In year one with the Marauders, Versfeld helped the team to a PSAC Championship and a NCAA Semifinals appearance.
Versfeld, was a two-time All-American, three-time team captain and four-time All-Colonial Conference selection for the Dukes. She was voted the 2005-06 James Madison Female Athlete of the Year after leading her team to the NCAA Tournament. Versfeld was also a member of the Zimbabwe National Team from 2001-07, winning the team MVP award in 2001 and serving as team captain for three years.
The RAD/MU Field Hockey Camp staff will be both International and Collegiate Head and Collegiate Assistant coaches and top High school Coaches when available.
